Coal loading facility on Mile 11 of the Emory River. The Emory River flows into the Clinch River, which flows into Watts Bar Lake and is part of the Tennessee River System. The facility is fed by two separate railroad systems and can accommodate the unloading of up to 60 railcars a day. The facility can also be supplied by truck and has the capability of loading coal at a rate of 400 tons per hour. The mooring facility on the river can handle 12 jumbo hopper barges at a time. Each barge has a capacity of 1.500 tons.
